Getting Started: MAIDs

Getting Started: MAIDs

In February 2020, Mobile Advertising IDs (MAIDs) became available as an Input and an Insights Bundle via API. We announced the new features to our audience via the February Product Newsletter and a detailed blog post breaking down what a Mobile Ad ID is and why they’re valuable to you.

Up to 70% of web traffic occurs on a mobile device, with people spending more than five hours a day on their devices. So it’s paramount you connect to your customers where they are — Mobile Ad IDs can act as the keys to unlocking the mobile world.

How It Works

If you collect Mobile Ad IDs, but don’t have any additional insights about that user, or you have other identifiable information and want to expand your advertising reach, we can help build on the contact information you have today.

Mobile Ad IDs as an Identifier

Enrich Mobile Ad IDs with offline identifiers (like age and gender) to segment and personalize your targeted audience before activating on ad platforms.

With Enrich, the ability to match on one or many input fields is available. Lookup and enrich individuals by sending any identifiers you may already have, such as email addresses, Twitter handles, and now Mobile Ad IDs. These identifiers will then be used to locate and return any additional information we may have within the Insights Bundles enabled for your account.

Mobile Ad IDs as an Insights Bundle

Convert an email address, phone number, or name & postal into a usable anonymous identifier by enriching your current customer data with Mobile Ad IDs.

The Mobile Ad IDs Insights Bundle allows you to connect your customer’s online/mobile contact elements and combines them with offline identity information. This Insights Bundle will be returned in the identifiers key in the details object of the Person Summary object.
