Refresh is an integration that allows you to clean up your contacts automatically. It disposes of information that is no longer useful, by removing undeliverable or disposable emails, correcting any incorrect emails and removing any invalid URLs in your address book.
Once you authorize FullContact Refresh, your contacts will be scanned for undeliverable, disposable, and incorrect emails as well as URLs that are no longer valid. You will have complete visibility into which email addresses and URLs are removed and/or edited. If you see one that should not have been removed, you can report it immediately to the FullContact team who will undo the change and make sure that it does not happen again to that contact. If you'd like to review all of the changes before they're made, you can enable the "Don't Automatically Remove Data" option.
Can I restore information if Refresh has deleted it?
Yes, information deleted by Refresh can be restored so there is no risk of losing information!
Can I control what information is automatically deleted and what needs my confirmation?
Processing rules allow you to take control over what actions Refresh can do automatically, and what needs your confirmation.
How do I report wrongly deleted information?
In the refresh page, you will have a complete overview of everything that has been deleted or changed, any action taken by Refresh that should not have been taken can be reported from there.
What are smart label rules?
Smart labels will help you assign emails depending on what they are - work, home or education. When Smart Labels are enabled, Refresh will change the labels for all emails:
- that are part of a consumer based domain (e.g. gmail.com) to Home,
- any education based domains (e.g. myschool.edu) to School
- all other domains will be considered Work.
Here you can define additional rules for your account that you would like to be applied before our default rules. You can use email addresses, domains, or wildcards (*). e.g. email@example.com
Is there a limit for Refresh scans?
Accounts currently have a weekly processing quota of 1,000 emails.
