When viewing your bill, it is possible to download and /or print receipts.
When will I receive my bill?
Billing notices are sent between the 2nd - 4th day of the month. The card on file is charged between the 5th - 7th day of the month. Please contact us if you are concerned, and have not received a bill when you are expecting one.
What is considered an overage?
An overage is any data returned beyond the match limits of your plan. We do not bill for every API Call - only those where data is returned and essentially, a 'match' has been made.
Overages are billed in arrears meaning they are billed in the following month. Typically, overages for the previous month are reflected on the same billing notice for the current month. Occasionally, these may be delivered as separate bills.
Example: You are on the $99/mo plan beginning in December. This plan allows for 2,500 matches. You receive 2,680 matches - that’s 180 more matches than the plan limit. In January, you receive a bill for $99 (this is monthly billing in advance for the month of January), followed by a second line item on that bill for the additional 180 matches over the plan limit of 2,500. The overage rate for this plan is $0.04 per additional match. So, 180 additional matches multiplied by $0.04 per additional match totals $7.20 for overages. This second line item is for the overage incurred in December - despite being billed for it once the billing period has closed, in the new month of January. Below is an example of what this scenario would look like on a bill received in January.
